Christmas Store

Urban Youth Impact has hosted an annual Christmas Store since 1997, and has distributed over 30,000 toys since the first event.  In December 2009, Urban Youth Impact held its 13th annual Christmas Store at Roosevelt Full Service Center near downtown West Palm Beach.  The Christmas Store provided 5,000 toys to 500 families and 1,900 children, and lunch was served to 1,500 guests.  Parents also received 200 bags of free groceries.  UYI recruited nearly 400 volunteers to help at the event, as well as 35 businesses and organizations to sponsor the Christmas Store and collect toys.  Major partners included 88.1 WAY-FM, Christ Fellowship, First Baptist Church of West Palm Beach, First Presbyterian Church of North Palm Beach, The King's Academy, and Toys for Tots.
