In 2017, with the help of supporters like you, we raised over $76,000 and had 442 participants registered to run or walk. With the continued commitment of Chick-fil-A, and a new route on West Palm Beach’s Flagler Drive, we’re anticipating twice the amount of registered runners and twice over the amount of money raised to support the programs at Urban Youth Impact.
Imagine a community with less juvenile crime, fewer teen pregnancies, less substance abuse, less child abuse/domestic violence, and fewer school dropouts. Through Urban Youth Impact core programs and collaborations with community partners, we serve more than 400 youth every week with educational enrichment, job readiness training and more.
It‘s going to be a fun-filled morning with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Urban Youth Impact mission is to love, equip and empower inner-city youth to fulfill their God-given purpose. The 5K will be timed by Accuchip, and our fun cowbell medals will be awarded in each age group.
