The Entrepreneurial Academy (EA) exists to provide a platform for young adults, ages 18-35 to become transformational and community-minded business owners and leaders. This exciting new program helps young adults from the urban community create and launch their own businesses. Over the 10-week program, participants will create and develop a business idea, receive entrepreneurial training and mentorship from local business leaders, as well as compete for funding to launch their businesses.
The EA offers the Kauffman FastTrac NewVenture course. FastTrac NewVenture teaches entrepreneurs how to identify and meet market needs, how to test the viability of a business concept and the critical steps to a successful business launch. The course also facilitates networking between entrepreneurs and professionals.
Students who meet EA requirements are invited to apply by clicking the links below. To complete the first stage of the application process, applicants must also provide at least one recommendation.
